Spring Bank Holiday Service Information

The on-campus library facilities and learning spaces will be closed on Monday 25 May for the Spring Bank Holiday. Libraries will close at their normal Semester 3 closing times on Sunday (4pm at Harrison Library, City Campus, and Walsall Campus Library) and will re-open at 08:30 on Tuesday 26 May.

What does this mean for you?
There will be no access to library buildings, learning spaces, or facilities throughout the day, and there will be no in-person library or skills support available.

Our digital resources, including e-books and online databases, will remain accessible via LibrarySearch. You can also continue to access help and support from an international librarian via Assist Live Chat, which is available 24/7. You may also find answers to your queries by searching our Library Assist Answers FAQs or visiting the Skills for Learning Study Guides.

For any questions that cannot be answered, our library support teams will return on Tuesday 26 May and will respond to any queries as soon as possible. In the meantime, please feel free to send your questions using the Ask the Library web form.

Automatic renewals for all books will continue. If you have any items due to be returned on Monday 25 May, the due date will automatically be extended to Tuesday 26 May.
