Our School of Psychology and Sports brings together two dynamic departments united by a shared commitment to understanding human behaviour and performance. Whether you're drawn to the mind or the body, you'll study in state-of-the-art facilities, learn from professional staff who are experts in their fields, and graduate with hands-on experience through work placements, applied learning, and partnerships with leading organisations.
- Professionally accredited courses Our Psychology programmes are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), giving graduates automatic eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), while many of our Sport courses are accredited by bodies such as The Society of Sports Therapists (SST).
- Outstanding facilities — from our cutting-edge cyberpsychology research laboratory to our Walsall campus's specialist sports facilities, including human performance and movement labs with 3D motion capture, a Sports Performance Clinic, elite strength and conditioning suite, and a six-lane 200m sprint track.
- Real-world experience — gain career-ready skills through applied learning, placements, and collaborations with organisations such as British Judo, England Squash, the Commonwealth Games, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, and West Bromwich Albion FC.
