Walsall Student Village has 338 ensuite rooms, so if you want that uni experience with a bit of comfort, then this is place for you. With flexible 37, 42 and 52 week contracts, plus semester options, bookings are now open for both undergrad and postgrad students.

You'll get your own private room and bathroom (yes, no sharing showers), plus a shared kitchen and chill area with up to 7 other people - think comfy sofas, TV's and a good social vibe. 

Its modern, friendly and everything is super close by, perfect for rolling out of bed to make those 9am lectures or meeting up with your friends at the Students' Union.

Take a look at the facilities available to make your stay easy and comfortable -
  • Kitchens and living areas are shared with up to 7 people, but there’s plenty of space so it never feels crowded.
  • You'll get all the essentials in the kitchen including an oven, hobs, microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, plus sofas, a TV, loads of prep space and a big table perfect for group meals or takeout nights.
  • In your room you've got everything you need, a bed and a mattress, desk and chair, bookshelf, wardrobe, curtains or blinds, and a bin.
  • Communal areas are cleaned regularly, to give you a helping hand.
  • All bills are included, so heating, internet, electric, gas, contents insurance and even parking all sorted. 
  • It’s also a great place to study, with two floors of mind books, computers and ultra modern pods for group work.
  • We know moving away from home can feel a bit overwhelming, so the accommodation staff are always there if you need help or have any questions. 
  • All accommodation is allocated on a first come, first served basis, so it's worth getting in early to secure the room you want. 
  • If you're into sports, Walsall has you covered with a multi-million pound Sports Centre packed with top facilities, expert staff and high-tech sports science labs.
  • You've got a 12-court multi-use sports hall, a six-lade floodlit athletics track, an all-weather pitch, and a dedicated throws and jump areas. So there's something for everyone. 
  • It's also athlete approved, the Walsall Campus is home to the British Judo Association, who live, train and compete right on campus.

After you've worked up an appetite, hit up the food court where you can grab pretty much whatever, you're craving, from fresh salad and Mediterranean options to a classic jacket potato or a quick Starbucks on the go.

Getting out and about 

Walsall town centre has loads going on, with bars, clubs, pubs, shops and restaurants, perfect for meeting new people and making memories, especially during Freshers' week. 

When you need a break from studying or socialising, there's a peaceful Victorian park nearby with over 35 acres of lakes, trees and gardens, ideal for a chill walk or just feeding the ducks and resetting.
