University celebrates further league table success in Daily Mail University Guide

The University has achieved another strong performance in the latest Daily Mail University Guide, ranking in the UK's top 25 for Teaching Excellence, top 15 for Student Support and top 40 for graduate outcomes.

The University is ranked 25th in the UK for Teaching Excellence, placing it among the country's leading institutions for the quality of education it provides, while its commitment to student success is reflected in a 13th place ranking for Student Support.

Graduate outcomes also continue to strengthen, with Wolverhampton ranked among the UK's top 40 universities for employability measures. The University is placed 37th for graduates progressing into highly skilled jobs and 39th for graduate salaries after completion of their studies.

The strong performance contributed to the University rising from 58th to 51st overall in the national rankings.

The guide also highlights the strength of a number of subject areas across the University, including:

• 5th for Counselling, Psychotherapy and Occupational Therapy
• 6th for Health Sciences
• 6th for Teacher Training
• 7th for Architecture, Building and Planning
• 9th for Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering

These latest rankings build on a series of significant achievements for the University over the past year, including attaining a prestigious QS Five-Star rating, the highest possible score in the internationally recognised QS Stars assessment system, being ranked third in the UK for social mobility in the 2025 English Social Mobility Index, and being voted by students as one of the Top 10 universities in the UK and number one in the West Midlands in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards, highlighting the University's excellent reputation for teaching quality, student experience, graduate outcomes and social impact.
