School of Creative Industries showcases the work of graduating students across nine disciplines
Final-year students from the University’s School of Creative Industries are preparing to showcase their work at the annual Degree Show, running from 5–19 June 2026.
The free exhibition, open to the public Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm, will feature work from students graduating in Animation, Art & Design Foundation, Film & Television Production, Fine Art, Game Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Journalism, and Photography.
Lindsey Chambers, Head of School of Social Science, Humanities and Creative Industries, University of Wolverhampton said: "We look forward to welcoming all our students, colleagues, families, and friends for an evening of celebration in viewing our end of year Degree Show. Guests will have the opportunity to see the work of our talented graduates across nine creative, digital and media subjects.
"The world is uncertain and this is when Artists and Designers go to work, noticing, revealing and understanding the world around us. Their creativity is transformational and inspirational."
An historic final show at the current campus
This year's Degree Show marks a significant moment for the School of Creative Industries, as it will be the last to take place at the George Wallis Building. The school is set to relocate to its newly refurbished home at the Housman Building in 2027, following a refurbishment project that will bring creative arts education into a purpose-designed space.
The university recently invited the public to help choose a new name for the Housman Building to mark the transition - a chance to shape the identity of Wolverhampton's creative future.
